Employment and Training
Supportive Services A program designed to assist individuals with disabilities in attaining and maintaining a community based employment position. Employment Specialists and Job Coaches help an individual search, obtain, and secure employment. When needed, the Job Coach will work alongside the employee until they feel comfortable with the job. This concept is excellent for large and small businesses alike. Trainee Services & Transportation Provides transportation for many individuals to and from the Workshop. We currently have 5 vans serving many areas of Armstrong county. Vocational Rehabilitation Program Personal Work Adjustment Training: Provides individuals an opportunity to receive training of different skills which will benefit them in finding and maintaining employment. Vocational Training and Sheltered Employment: Provides on-going training in manufacturing products resulting in a wide range of job skills that can be used toward competitive employment or continued sheltered employment. Program Management: Provides goals and objectives that enable an individual to meet the demands of employment and help them move higher in vocational training or receive Supportive Employment Services.
